The exclusive event is delivered by energy company Eon, Aktuell Hållbarhet and Dagens industri. Now in its 13th year, it recognises the nation’s smartest new energy solutions with a focus on climate-related innovations.
An expert jury has whittled a long list of nominations to 9 finalists, in three separate categories including Renewable Energy, Sustainable Transport and Energy. CorPower joins two other finalists in the renewable energy category.
The next step will see team leaders pitching innovations in more detail at a breakfast pitch on October 08. Winners of the E-Prize 2021 will be chosen on November 16 at the Current Sustainability and Today’s Industry conference Sustainable Business.
The event comes as the energy and climate issue remains top of the global agenda, featuring in autumn budgets, public debate and across geopolitics. The demand for new and innovative solutions to help lead us through the climate crisis has never been greater.
Klementina Österberg, CEO of GU Ventures AB and one of E- Prize jury expert members, said: “It is with great confidence about the future that we in the jury enjoy being able to go through all the innovative, energy-related innovations and companies that change, and want to change, the world. The finalists are both well-equipped, sometimes already well-established and have high-flying plans that we believe are feasible and can be successful.”
